What are the various types of Text and Picture Alerts?
There are four general types of Text and Picture Alerts. Each alert type requires certain elements be selected in order to be sent to your phone. • Scheduled Alerts – Require that you select the time(s) and day(s). For example, if you want to receive the “Daily Quote” you must select the date and time you want to receive the alert. • Keyword Alerts – Require that you also select a keyword in order to receive the alert. For example, to receive “Celebrity Gossip” about your favorite star, you must enter their name. We’ll send you only the information that contains your keyword(s). • Real-time Alerts – For example, to receive “Football Scores,” select your team. We’ll send you the text alert after a score or when a quarter or game has ended. • Event-based Alerts – For example, to receive a “Stock Event,” enter your ticker symbol and then enter how high or how low the stock price would have to go to trigger the text alert.
