What are the various types of foreshadowing?
There are mainly two types of foreshadowing. There is modern foreshadowing and classical foreshadowing. Modern foreshadowing is more symbolic and does not explicitely say what event will occur later where as Classical foreshadowing is more literal. For example in Romeo In Juliet, the introductrion clearly states that two people love each other so much that they will take their lives if it means being together and that his what actually happened at the end of the story.
