There are two methods for the recovery of debts in Cameroon. • Where the debt is certain, liquid, unquestionable and determined, recovery is by simplified procedure (otherwise known as summary procedure). • On the other hand, where the debt is contentious, that is, needs to be proven by documentary or oral evidence, the recoverable method is by filing a statement of clam or writ of summon.
