What are the various kinds of activities I might take part in independent living?
You’ll have a whole range of activities to choose from. Arts and crafts rooms where you can learn a new skill, or perfect a lifelong hobby. . .inviting lounges for games and friends or just relaxing. . .library and a community theatre/auditorium for live performances, concerts, movies. . .shuffleboard.. . . computer lab . educational classes wooded walking paths. . .and scheduled transportation for errands and shopping, plus local day trips. In addition to all the recreational facilities that are available in the community, many programs and events are arranged by our Recreation Director. A monthly published calendar will keep you informed of upcoming events which are open to everyone.
