1. An Industrial infrastructure development fund (IIDF) has been created to be used to provide infrastructure facilities such as roads, electricity, water, drainage etc., at the doorstep of the proposed industry in the areas identified by the State Government as Industrial Areas 2. Critical Infrastructure Balancing Scheme (CIBS) Funds will be made available to the Industrial Associations/Service Societies/ NGOs for up gradation of infrastructure facilities such as water supply, laying of roads, electric sub stations, effluent treatment plants etc., The funds will be provided at 1:1 ratio between Govt. and Industrial Associations / Service Societies. In some cases where the no. of sick and closed units and vacant plots is more than 50% of the total number of plots, APIIC will share 20% of the total cost and Industrial Associations will have to contribute only 30% of the cost.
