What are the various classifications of Music Library materials and where are they located in the stacks?
• Music Scores (Library of Congress ‘M’ class) Full size music scores are located in the east section of the stacks. (Click here for information on how to read call numbers for books and scores in the Music Library). • Music Miniature Scores (Library of Congress M class) Miniature scores are shelved in the east section of the stacks, after the full size scores. • Music Folio Scores (Library of Congress M class) Folio scores are oversized or odd sized scores and are shelved in the east section of the stacks, after the miniature scores. • Music Books (Library of Congress ML and MT classes) Books about music and musicians (ML class) are located in the center and west sections of the stacks.
