The utility bill includes fixed charges and charges for water consumption. Depending on where in the City you reside, the water consumption charges vary. The rates vary based on the geographic elevation of the property being served. The rates range from $1.03 to $1.72 per unit of water (one unit equals 100 cubic feet or 748 gallons). For example, if you use 20 units of water at a rate of $1.03/unit, the water consumption charge would total $20.60. The water consumption charge plus the monthly fixed charges of $59.38 would total $79.98 for your utility bill.
