What are the various alarms and beeps?
The hypo warning is a series of four short beeps. “Hypo” will flash on the screen when the hypo warning sounds. The reminder alarm is a series of four short beeps that repeats four times at two-second intervals. The alarm symbol will appear on the screen when the reminder alarm sounds. Finally, the meter will beep once when the meter is turned on, the meter starts to count down and when the test has ended. Note: the audible beep must be turned “on”, or you will not hear the beep at any time. Q: The backlight setting is confusing. Explain the difference between a setting on “1” and a setting of “9”.
