What are the vaccination requirements for transport?
A. Dogs and cats must have their health certificate and shot records up to date. Dogs must have current rabies shot within one year of transport. Puppies should have been given their parvo shot at six to eight weeks. Kittens should receive their distemper and feline leukemia vaccinations at eight weeks. All animals over fourteen weeks must have rabies vaccination. While not required it is recommended that dogs are vaccinated for “kennel cough” prior to transport.
