As I understand your question, you are interested in the applicative side of this language, called Python. The usage is most for business applications, so my suggestion is that you take a closer look at COBOL, another language for business applications. COBOL is more like “natural language” and is very strong on database interactions. I’ve been a COBOL-programmer for 27 years now, and never missed a single day at work (including weekends) because it is so fun to code in COBOL. Python is NOT the road ahead for you.
