What are the usual applications for a welder – why would someone need a welder?
Welders are a valuable tool for anyone working with metals, either making things or repairing them. Virtually any time that you would use a screw or a rivet on metal, you can use a welder to accomplish the same job, many times much more easily and stronger. Also, welders allow you to attach metals together in applications where other metal fastening techniques either won’t work, or are not strong enough.
