In SaffireControl, the user can apply processing to the two analogue inputs in the form of quality Focusrite EQ and compression (designed by the same team that created the Forte Suite for Pro Tools), as well as being able to simulate classic amplifiers if plugging a guitar straight into the Saffire. The other significant USP is the monitoring/output matrix.
