In education computers are used in three basic ways including; Computer Assisted Instructions, Computer Managed Instructions and programming. Computer Assisted Instructions: These are of three basic types including drill and practice(drills student for mastery), for tutorial purposes(teaches students content) and simulations(allows students to experience situations). This category shows that students use computers and they learn through this technology. Computer Managed Instructions:It means that teachers use computers for administrative tasks. Programming:Students use computers to get programming skills and to understand basic functionality of computers.
