What are the UCAS deadlines for applying and what happens if I miss the deadlines?

0

The guidelines are below, but we can help you at any time of the year. Completed applications should be at UCAS by the following dates. 15 October 2008 (for 2009 entry) for Dentistry, Medicine, Veterinary Science and Veterinary Medicine. It is the same date for applications to the University of Oxford and Cambridge University. 15 January 2009 for most other courses. If your application arrives after the deadline UCAS will still process it (right up to 30 June) and it is up to universities and colleges how they deal with it. After 30 June, you go straight into a system called ‘Clearing’. We place many students at the last minute, during this ‘clearing’ process.
