What are the UC Transfer Requirements?
If you wish to transfer to a UC campus as a junior, you must: • Complete 60 semester units (or 90 quarter units) of transferable college coursework with a grade point average of at least 2.4 (2.8 for non-California residents)*, and • Complete a course pattern requirement (with at least a “C” grade in each course) to include: • two transferable college courses in English composition (3 semester units each); and • one transferable college course in Mathematical Concepts and Quantitative Reasoning (3 semester units); and • four transferable college courses (3 semester units each) chosen from at least two of the following subject areas: Arts and Humanities; Social and Behavioral Sciences; or Physical and Biological Sciences. • Complete lower-division major requirements for their specific major prior to transfer. *Note: The minimum grade point average required for admission depends on the campus and major.
