What are the U.S. Commercial Service Export Service Eligibility Guidelines?
Welcome to the export service eligibility guidelines page. This page provides guidance on the businesses to which the U.S. Commercial Service (CS) may provide export products and services. This policy applies to fee-based Commercial Service products and services. Prior to providing fee-based CS products and services to any entity, the CS will evaluate the entity on the following two factors: 1. U.S. Exporter Criteria 2. Majority U.S. Content Criteria 1. Determination as a U.S. exporter: Is the entity seeking assistance a U.S. citizen or a commercial entity organized under the laws of the United States or of any state or territory of the United States? OR Is the entity seeking assistance a foreign-organized business that is majority owned by a U.S. citizen?
