What are the typical types of university service expectations for Adjunct Professors?
University service includes participation in the activities of the Academic Federation, department, college, graduate group, campus, and systemwide committees. In addition to committees, other service activities include: advising students, mentoring students or junior AF members, managing a departmental website, overseeing/sponsoring student activities, overseeing departmental equipment or facilities, using one’s expertise to solve a problem for the department or college/school, etc. 2.
