What are the typical eligibility requirements and expectations of New Graduate RNs who wish to participate in the Versant RN Residency?

0

A. While Versant does not set any hospital hiring policies, the following expectations may be considered typical: 1. You would be expected to have successfully graduated from a recognized school of registered nursing: A.D.N., B.S.N. or above. 2. You would be expected to obtain your State RN License prior to the start of the 18-week Versant RN Residency program. 3. The program is designed for individuals who have less than one year of clinical experience but often employers will limit entry to those who have had less than six months of clinical experience. 4. Classes are not open to the public. You will be competing with other New Graduate RNs for a limited number of open positions. The specific selection criteria and process is up to the hospital. This section is merely designed to give you a sense of what to expect.
