What are the types of teachers not subject to HQT reporting?
The following types of teachers are not subject to HQT reporting and any courses taught by these types of teachers should be marked as “not core,” even if they are providing instruction in one of the NCLB core content areas: • Teachers providing support instruction (RSP Teachers) • Distance learning classroom monitors • Teachers delivering courses at a Regional Occupational Center • College professors delivering college courses to high school students • Teachers delivering online courses provided by a public or private agency Any course sections reported for these teachers should be marked as “not core”.
