What are the types of lasers available?
Presently, there are two types of lasers. The Erbium laser will remove superficial wrinkles and improve moderate and severe wrinkles with a healing time of several days. For the more established wrinkles, a carbon dioxide super-pulsed laser is used. This process requires one week healing time and leaves a residual redness that disappears after several weeks. Often, we combine both lasers as the clinical situation permits so that redness lasts only a couple of weeks and wrinkles are treated most effectively. What are my alternatives to laser treatment?
