What Are the Types of Heavy Steel Plates?
Heavy steel plates are relatively flat metal objects made from some form of steel or alloy. Though there is no specific size range for a metal plate, the term “plate” is generally used for objects that are thicker than sheet metal. Most plates cannot be bent by hand, and require special tools for cutting. Different types of heavy steel plates can be used for a wide variety of building and manufacturing applications.
