There are many causes of conditions, so many that they could not possibly be summed up here, but here is a rough sampler of disease causes. *Genetic – can cause almost any of the following except infectious, toxic, and physical trauma *Vascular – damage to the blood vessels *Toxic – some form of poisoning *Neurological – arising from damage or defects to neurons or their chemicals *Cancer *Autoimmune – where the persons own immune system malfunctions or attacks their own body *Hormonal – when levels of hormones, the body’s messengers are not right *Physical Trauma – physical damage to the body (cuts, bruises, broken bones, concussion) *Mental – perhaps the cruelest and least understood of all conditions, these rob a person of their mental faculties in some way *Infectious – the invasion of the body by self replicating biological entities.
