WHAT ARE the two manmade structures visible from space .?
It’s amazing how many people still think the great wall is visible from space. It isn’t. In fact, I don’t think any parts of it can be seen from 20 miles up. (I assume you are talking about naked eye observation, not telescopic.) There are two man-made islands in the shape of palm trees off the coast of UAE, near Dubai. In my research on this very question, I found that they can be seen from a great altitude, but probably not from space, with the unaided eye. Cities can be seen from that height, but they are not structures, and usually it is difficult to tell that they are man-made. Some reservoirs are easy to see, but not the dams, themselves. The patterns of some airport runways can be distinguished from about 50 miles up. No pyramids or buildings can be resolved as such from space, but we can easily see city the lights of cities from a few thousand miles up, on the night side. NO, the Great Wall of China is NOT VISIBLE FROM SPACE!! At night, the cities that are big enough can be seen from space. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http… And the netherlands are visible from space, and they are manmade. Every one of the islands, and half of the Netherlands itself, was drained from the ocean. And every year, more land is drained from the sea. So…. I guess that could count.
