The EdD programme will offer two Areas of Study – Educational Measurement and Assessment and Language Education (English). The former being the first of its kind not only in Hong Kong but also the Region. Both Areas of Study are fields in which the Institute processes critical mass of international expertise, and are geared towards meeting the increasing demands of the education profession for support in the face of new challenges, such as the forthcoming 3-3-4 academic structure and the corresponding new public examination system.
