What are the tried and tested ways of failing a project, or at least doing badly?
1. Do something you find boring 2. Be methodologically slack 3. Don’t listen to your supervisor 4. Use you supervisors time for trivia and forget to talk about the important stuff. 5. Lace together other people’s dodgy questionnaires without thought, rhyme or reason, just because its seems an OK thing to do. Its not. 6. Fail to link organizational issues to your literature review. 7. Cause examiners to lose the will to live by over use of SPSS without giving due thought to what you are doing. 8. Don’t mention the title of your project until the last paragraph of your introduction. 9. Forget the method sections are the core of the study. 8. Claim to have developed a questionnaire and fail to say how. 10. Claim to have done a concrete or thematic analysis and then fail to say how it was done. 11. Fail to think about your discussion.
