What are the treatment options for Point-of-Use?
It is very important to understand your water’s characteristics prior to making a purchasing decision to treat arsenic. There are several options for POU treatment on the market, including reverse osmosis and adsorptive media. A reverse osmosis (RO) system will remove Arsenic V and many other dissolved contaminants from drinking water, but it will not remove Arsenic III, the more harmful form of arsenic. If arsenic is your primary concern, an adsorptive treatment system, like Apyron’s, provides a more focused approach. Apyron’s treatment solutions are significantly less expensive than a typical RO system, and they remove both Arsenic V and Arsenic III from drinking water.
