What are the transportation options/systems in Washington? Where do students park?
Washington, D.C. offers such excellent public transportation that having a car can be more of a disadvantage than an asset. For more information on Metrorail subway and bus systems, visit www.metroopensdoors.com. For students who choose to drive to campus or keep a car at student housing, the following options are available: Undergraduate students can park at the Georgetown campus with passes purchased by check or money order from the Georgetown campus administrator. Student parking is not available at the Downtown campus. Students living in Corcoran housing may purchase an assigned parking space in the building’s secure, underground garage for $180 per month, based on availability.
