What are the traditional methods of damp proofing that Santia use?
In most cases we inject Dryzone damp proofing cream. This is a water-repellent cream that is introduced into a series of holes drilled into the mortar course. Once installed it uses the moisture contained in the damp wall to diffuse where it is most needed before curing to form a water repellent resin. It has a number of advantages over conventional chemical injections for both contractor and home owner; it is quick and simple to install, it has a low hazard solvent-free formulation and is approved by the British Board of Agrement (BBA).
