What are the trade-offs when Overclocking?
The two main trade-offs when overclocking a PC are heat and stability. The faster your push the processor, the more heat it generates and the higher the chances of it making an error in its calculations. Furthermore, a hot CPU is more likely to degrade over time and may lose years off its ~10yr lifespan. We find this unacceptable and therefore strive to completely eliminate both heat and stability issues through high-end custom cooling and many days and nights of strenuous stability testing and tweaking.
