As far as I know nursing, business, engineering, accounting, and computer sciences have been and will be hot for the foreseeable future. The Occupational Outlook Handbook (See: www.bls.gov/oco/home.htm ) lists many professions under each of these categories that are expected to maintain “much faster than the average” job growth in the coming years. Of course there are ‘fields within these’ fields that are particularly ‘hot’. ‘Biomedical and Environmental engineers enjoy much better job security odds than aerospace engineers at the moment.
