In order to install the Tivoli Provisioning Manager 7.1 software, multiple installers will be used. The software product’s launchpad serves as a centralized interface for launching a collection of installation programs and product information. Here are the installers that will be used by the Tivoli Provisioning Manager software: • Middleware Installer (MWI) – used to install and configure the middleware: IBM DB2 Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment, WebSphere Application Server Plug-ins, IBM HTTP Server, IBM Tivoli Director Server, Remote Agent Controller. • Base Services Installer (BSI) – used to deploy the base services. • Language Pack Installer – used to deploy additional language packs. • Process Solution Installer (PSI) – used to deploy the Web components.
