What are the titles of the new Colleges and what is their composition?

The current Schools, Departments, Divisions, Centres and Institutes will remain in being. All Departments, Divisions and Schools will be renamed ‘Schools’ and along with research institutes will be component units within the Colleges. Centres currently within Schools and Departments will remain sub-units of the Schools. The groupings of Schools, Centres and Institutes into new Colleges are those that give the greatest academic coherence, and which are of sufficient size to reach the ‘critical mass’ required to achieve our goals. The titles below are working titles that will be finalised by the Council at its July meeting: College of Arts & Humanities: School of English, School of Welsh, School of History and Welsh History, School of Linguistics and English Language, School of Modern Languages, School of Music, School of Theology and Religious Studies, Centre for Creative Industries, WISCA.
