What are the timescales?
Adverts are published 3rd January 2009 in BMJ Careers. You can apply online using I:CAMS from 5th January 2009. Registration for the I:CAMS system has now opened and can be accessed at: https://secure.intrepidonline.co.uk/ICAMS/EMD/sys_Pages/Common/Login.aspx. Interview dates can be seen by clicking here. The closing date for applications to most locally managed posts is 13thJanuary 2009. (Please note there may be different opening and closing dates for specialties with a national process and you should check relevant College or Lead Deanery websites for information on these – we will ensure that links are available from the deanery website to these national specialties). For locally managed specialties you will be able to track the progress of your application on the I:CAMS system. If you are successful in being shortlisted and invited to interview you should receive notification of the outcome of your interview with 72 hours of interviews completing within that specialty.
