What are the thresholds?
If the University is spending over a certain amount on a goods /service or a group of like goods/services, then we are obliged to advertise the contract in the Official Journal of the European Union. (For the purpose of the regulations services include the expenditure accrued across the whole University over a period of 48 months) However, the policy is that any proposed external expenditure estimated to exceed 100,000 aggregated across the University should be notified to the Procurement Office for advice.
