What are the three best things about working at United States Navy?
1. Diversity. The Navy provides an opportunity for people of all different backgrounds and even other nations to come together for a common goal. There are males, females, young and old each contributing to the cultural climate of the organization. 2. Experience. In the last 6 years I’ve been to Asia, India, and the Middle East and have traveled tens of thousands of miles working on the most advanced aircraft in the world. Flight operations on an aircraft carrier provide an opportunity to excel under pressure and build confidence through goal setting and tangible results. The structured career paths and well adapted procedures enable personal and professional growth. 3. The Navy utilizes the most advanced and proven methods to train personnel from diverse backgrounds. I have more than a year in full time classroom environments learning about electronics for radar and missiles, aircraft navigation and flight systems, leadership and conflict resolution and quality assurance methods.
