What are the three best things about working at American Home Mortgage?
I loved working at American Home Mortgage. By far, it was one of the best managed mortgage companies that I had worked for. The three best things about working at American Home Mortgage were their training, their honesty and their innovativeness. They offered and encouraged you to seek additional training. The offered additional training courses off-site in addition to online training. Every week, they had a “product of the week” class where they went into detail on different loan products. They discussed some of the benefits and draw backs of that loan product and who would benefit most for that product. It was not a one size fits all approach to the diverse product offerings that they had. They were honest and ethical and valued that in their employees. I had worked places that were not ethical and questioned their honesty in preparing loan applications. Or some that would not condone it but would turn the other way.
