What are the therapeutic benefit in malaysian food?
“Malaysian cooking” is a vast concept. It borrows from all the nations around it: China, Thailand, Singapore, et al. Some would say it borrows the best from each – if my local restaurant (Malay Satay Hut in Bellevue, WA) is representative, I’d have to agree. The Malaysians don’t use a single ingredient that is not also used in other cuisines, so there is no specific therapeutic benefit that doesn’t also apply to the cuisine of the surrounding countries. However, that said, I have to admit that eating Malaysian food makes me smile and feel good all over.
