What are the tests needed for diagnosis of Chest diseases ?
After a detailed Clinical Evaluation , a set of Chest X-rays will be needed in most cases supplemented if necessary by an ECG. A CT Scan of the Chest may be required in select cases, so also a flexible fibreoptic esophagoscopy or bronchoscopy in a few cases. There are clear-cut indications of the type of the test to be done so also the type of treatment to be carried out.
