What are the Terms of the Settlement?
Microsoft will provide up to $32 million to volume business customers and consumer customers in the form of vouchers, which may be redeemed for rebates on the purchase of Qualifying Hardware or Qualifying Software. On October 24, 2003, the Court conditionally certified a Settlement Class (defined in the notice) and approved a preliminary Settlement Agreement.
Microsoft will provide up to $22.6 million to volume licensing customers and consumer customers in the form of vouchers, which may be redeemed for rebates on the purchase of Qualifying Hardware or Qualifying Software. On April 28, 2005, the Court conditionally certified a Settlement Class (defined in the notice) and preliminarily approved a Settlement Agreement.
Microsoft will provide up to $18 million to volume business customers and consumer customers in the form of vouchers, which may be redeemed for rebates on the purchase of Qualifying Hardware or Qualifying Software. On June 16, 2003, the Court conditionally certified a Settlement Class (defined in the notice) and approved a preliminary Settlement Agreement.
Microsoft will provide up to $89 million to volume business customers and consumer customers in the form of vouchers, which may be redeemed for rebates on the purchase of Qualifying Hardware or Qualifying Software. On October 30, 2003, the Court conditionally certified a Settlement Class (defined in the notice) and approved a preliminary Settlement Agreement.
