What are the terms and conditions of appropriate use of the school computers?
Privacy It is important that you keep your password a secret and do not allow anyone else to use your username to log on to the system. Storage Make sure that you save your files to your directory in the Student folders. Failure to do so may result in your work being lost or deleted. Users are expected to remain within allocated disk space and delete e-mail or other material which are not part of the authorized and assigned research or instructional activity, will take up excessive storage space. Internet & E-mail Students may only use the Internet or e-mail facilities if they have first gained permission from a teacher within the school. This will especially apply to the use of the network and computers during time outside of regular lessons. Illegal copying Students may only save or print files from the Internet if they have permission from a teacher.
