What are the terms and charges applicable to mobile line transfer?
Transfer of ownership is free of cost. There are two situations mentioned in following: • Both Owner & Recipient (Owner To-Be) are present. • Number has been mistakenly transferred to wrong name (Prepaid only). • Both Owner & Recipient (Owner To-Be) are present: • Both Owner and Recipient can walk in to any of our Customer Service/Franchise Centers. NO transfer of ownership is allowed without Owners presence. Both parties will give a copy of their CNIC and sign a No Objection Certificate. For a postpaid number both the first Owner and the new owner (Recipient) must settle all outstanding balance in their accounts with Warid Telecom before proceeding with the transfer. • Number has been wrongly transferred (Prepaid only): In case if prepaid number is not in the name of the original customer then customer can walk into any of our Warid Service/Franchise Centers with relevant documents and transfer the number in his name.
