• Clients: No client installation is required to a device such as a PC or laptop – only a modern web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer v6-7 or Mozilla Firefox 2-3 (with Javascript enabled and Java Runtime Environment 1.5-1.6) is needed. • Servers: At least two PCs installed with Ubuntu 8.04.1/x86-32 Server; one for the Session Manager, one or more for the Application Servers. Note: Installation guides for RHEL 5 and Fedora 9, as well as for Linux servers, are also available. • For the full production system, dual-core CPUs or better are recommended for the Application Servers. • Depending on the number and the kind of applications used, up to 20 users can run simultaneously on 1 GB or RAM. • LAN: At least 10Mbps, and ideally 100Mbps or faster LAN depending on number of users on the network. • Integration: the system can be plugged to an existing Active Directory or LDAP directory, and supports both CIFS and NFS fileservers.
