What are the teaching methods & learning resources?
The Process Engineering program is delivered by distance education. Students receive a study pack for each course, which consists of high quality print based material. This package contains: • a course profile that establishes assessment requirements and timelines as well as specific details for each course • a study guide which leads you through the concepts, readings, and activities for each unit • resource materials (additional readings, excerpts from textbooks, conference papers, etc) Students may be required to purchase prescribed texts as identified in the respective course profiles. Its structure as a distance program allows students to study from anywhere in the world and this flexibility allows them to balance work, family and study commitments. Lecturers communicate with students via email and telephone. Besides that, three teletutorials are delivered for each course (please see the Teletutorial Guide for more details).
