What are the taxes and tipping customs?
Local sales tax is 7.5 percent on most purchased items, including food served in restaurants. Tipping is used to show appreciation for a service rendered. A tip of 15 percent to 20 percent of the final bill before tax is expected in most restaurants and for room service. It is not included unless stated on the menu and the bill.
