What are the System Requirements?
• Supported OS: Windows 98/2000/Me/Xp/Vista • Hardware Requirements: Pentium II 400MHz or better, 32 MB RAM or better, Monitor capable of displaying 256 colors and 800×600 resolution or better • Requires DirectX 8.0 or higher to be installed. For more information on DirectX, refer to http://www.microsoft.com/directx • DVD Drive and a DVD playing (software), to convert DVDs This software is not compatible with Nero. • Conversion to WMV requires Windows Media Encoder V9 or better to be installed. You can download the latest version here. (when converting to WMV for Smartphone, Zune and Zen). Select “Windows Media Encoder” in the “Select Download” drop down. Then click the “Download Now” button under “Windows Media Encoder 9 Series” section • If you can play the DVD on Windows Media Player (WMP) then M²Convert should be able to convert it.
For PC: Your PC needs to have Windows XP (Home or Professional 32bit) or any version of Vista (32bit). Broadcasting video requires quite a powerful computer. You should have at least a 1.6GHz P4 processor, 512MB of RAM, a fast hard disc with about 10GB free, and a broadband connection with a good “upload’ speed of about “256kbps- 512kbps’ – this is standard for most ADSL connections and is different to your download speed that may be much higher. Note: if you run lots of other software on your computer or try to view your own broadcast on its web-site you may require more RAM and a faster processor to get the best broadcast. For Mac: OS 10.2 and above and the Selfcast player supports the browsers for Firefox 1.2 and above and Safari 2.x. You will also need a plug in for Adobe Flash player 9.
