What are the system requirements to use the PubMed Tutorial?
The tutorial was designed to work on Windows® Operating Systems with Microsoft Internet Explorer® version 6+ or with Netscape™ version 7+, and works best on Macintosh® computers using Mozilla Firefox™ or Opera™ 8+. It may not work properly with the AOL browser. You may encounter other inconsistencies or incompatibilities between browsers, and what can work for one may not necessarily work for another. This course contains animated demonstrations of procedures, for which you will need Macromedia Flash™ player version 6+. This player can be downloaded and installed at no cost from Macromedia®. There are known conflicts with the Flash animations on Macintosh® computers using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape 7.x, and on Windows 2000 using Mozilla Firefox™. If you are having difficulty with the Flash player for Unix, please check that you have the latest version of the Flash player installed and minimize the number of other applications running while you are viewing the tutorial.
