The scanner must be connected to a PC (not a Mac) that is connected to the Internet. That PC runs the software that controls the scanner and uploads the grading results to Edusoft. The scanner is the only non-Web-based part of the service. Everything else can be done from any computer (Mac or PC) from any location.
