What are the system requirements for DreamBox Learning to work on our home computer?
DreamBox Learning should work easily on most computers. Here are the requirements: • The computer must have a mouse. While touch pads and other pointing devices do work with DreamBox, most students find these device to be more difficult to use. • The computer’s display should have a minimum resolution of 1024×768. • The computer must have the ability to play sound. Most of the instruction in DreamBox is delivered verbally, as it is designed to be used by children who may not be old enough to read. Headphones are recommended, but not strictly required. • The computer must have the most current version of the Flash player installed. Go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to install the latest version. • The computer must have a web browser. Windows supported web browsers are Internet Explorer 6 or 7, Firefox 1.x-3.x and Safari 3.x. Mac OS X (v 10.4, 10.5) supported web browsers are Firefox 2.x or 3.x and Safari 3.x.
