What are the system requirements for DFP?
• Pentium-class computer • Windows 98 • At least 256 MB RAM and abundant hard drive storage space • 24-bit color display adapter and monitor Please note that DFP is a DOS application that does not run under Windows NT, 2000 or XP. Does DFP run under Windows XP? Our official position is that DFP does NOT run under Windows XP. However, some users report that they are able to run DFP under Windows XP Home. To attempt to run DFP under XP: • Download the XP Compatibility Updates from Windows update site. • Visit the graphics adaptor manufacturer’s website and download the latest XP drivers for your graphics adapter. DFP uses graphics modes that may not have been supported by earlier XP drivers. • Run DFP in 640×480 graphics mode. To select this mode, run the setup program (SETUP.EXE) from the command prompt in the C:\DFP7 directory.
