What are the system requirements for Classic Plus?
A. If Classic Plus is licensed for on-site use, a UNIX or Linux server and terminals or PCs connected to the server are the primary requirements. Remote locations connect to the server via the Internet or modem. If integrated credit card processing is used, a separate modem is required to connect to the credit card processor. Classic Plus software is more hard drive intensive than CPU intensive, therefore the bigger and faster your hard drive, the better the software will perform. A RAID solution is suggested for larger applications. SCSI hard drives are also suggested for faster throughput. Most Wyse terminals can be used, however, color terminals or PCs are recommended for better visualization of the software.
